The RealLife English Global Network gives intermediate-advanced English learners and speakers from all around the world the opportunity to connect and practice their English with real people, in real conversations, through real-time video chat, whenever & wherever they want. Over a billion people around the world are spending exorbitant amounts time and money studying English, generally with grammatical theory and traditional methods, but very rarely are given the opportunity to use the language for its real purpose: to communicate in authentic, socially engaging, real-world environments. To solve this, we are creating a web app that leverages the power of our already existing blog audience of English speakers, learners, and teachers and connecting them in authentic, intercultural, community-based learning environments. One of the best parts is getting the chance to practice what they’ve invested in, while experiencing other cultures firsthand and making the world a smaller place.
